Quality and function arise from experience and in the details. Founded in Hamburg in 1885, Berkemann has been dealing with problems and solutions relating to the foot for over 130 years. Because, like our company founder Heinrich Ad. Berkemann, it is still our daily aim to “manufacture suitable footwear of the best quality”. The basis for this is a conscientious selection of our suppliers and basic materials as well as our own three Hungarian shoe factories, in which our shoemakers use a lot of craftsmanship and experience to produce shoe models that support daily standing and walking thanks to soft leather, partial stretch inserts, and interchangeable footbed construction and many other convenience features make it easier.YOU'RE FINE WITH US!
For over 130 years, we have been manufacturing comfort shoes that are characterized by foot-friendly and comfortable fits, high-quality materials from European suppliers, durability and therefore, of course, sustainability.
